NOEMÍ DE LOS SANTOS ÁLVAREZ
She is a BSc and PhD in Chemistry at University of Oviedo where she become intereseted in electroanalysis. She was a postdoc fellow at Cornell University (NY, USA) under H.D. Abruña and then she returned to Spain to start working in DNA-based electrochemical biosensors and bioassays for food, environmental and clinical analysis with a Clarin Contract and then a Ramón y Cajal Contract. Since 2014 she has a permanent position at University of Oviedo, currently as Associate Professor in Analytical Chemistry. She was the recipient of the San Alberto Magno Award 2001 and has a strong background in electroanalysis and SPR devices.
